Broken

Last year, I saw this super cute wreath on Ducks in a Row. (This is her picture, I did not get a good one of my own.) :(

I loved it so much I made my own. It looked terrible in our rental house, so it was hung in the laundry room. In the post about my wreath, I hoped for a better place to display my wreath this year. Well, I have a better place, lots of them, actually. I hung it up and it looked all cute, for about 20 minutes. Then it crashed to the floor and the styrofoam base broke into a bunch of pieces and the candy corns went flying. That was the end of my wreath.

I am undecided as to whether or not I will make another.

Candy Corn Wreath

HERE, and decided to make one of my own. It turned out just great, except it clashes with the walls in my living room, and the landlord won't let us repaint. So, to remedy this problem, it's hanging in the laundry room. At least the laundry room is festive...better luck next year.
